New Web site There is a new web site for the society, that you will find easier to use, although the mail archive and several other sections still need to be transferred from the old web site. The new shop will go into action on Sunday 4th July at 10am British Summer Time. |

News from the Research Centre The Centre can help you – wherever your ancestors came from. Open to all at Yeomanry House, Castle Hill, Reading, come and search Findmypast and Ancestry. Delve into websites and other resources (the library holds 8,000 items – only 20% are Berkshire related.) Click for Opening Times, the Library Catalogue and Research Services. |
Meetings and
Events Monthly evening meetings on topics of general interest to family historians are held at Abingdon, Bracknell, Newbury, Reading, Windsor, and Woodley ( Computer Branch ). Visitors are welcome and admission is free to all The society also supports Open Days and Events in central southern England. Local members provide regular FREE drop-in advice sessions at local libraries (contact Branches for details). |
